Here is what just a few of our satisfied mothers and their birth companions have said about utilising Hypnobirthing. We hope to include your comments soon.
"Hypnobirthing was the best tool we used in preparation for the birth of our son. It enabled both of us to learn to focus, think positively and become totally relaxed yet excited about the birthing experience. It allowed my husband to learn more about the natural birthing process, and really provided him with the confidence and enthusiasm to be able to assist me in the most meaningful and helpful way possible. It meant that we could work as a team on the day and what a team we were! My labour was a totally empowering, drug free, amazing and beautiful experience and I attribute that to the HypnoBirthing® skills we learnt. Thank you so much!"

"We are really very grateful for the calm and peaceful birth of our beautiful daughter. It was a spiritual experience that is hard to describe. Something out of this world.
My waters broke at 3am and the surges got pretty intense at 4.30am. We got to the hospital at 5.30am and she was born at 8.30am. We had a wonderful midwife who hardly assisted at all, she sat in a corner sipping her coffee and let my husband and I do our own thing. She had never seen someone being in labour and looking like they were asleep. The last 15 minutes I was in a bath tub and with 3 deep breaths our baby was out. Very peaceful and quiet. She is a very content and happy baby who hardly ever cries and sleeps really well. Learning how your body works during labour and how to relax, breath and go within yourself made labour exciting and interesting.
I was confident I was doing the right thing and prepared for every stage of labour. I am very grateful to have had this experience and so is my husband! He has been present at 2 births previously and has never seen anything like this before, he couldn't believe what he saw and how I could be in full control over the situation hardly needing his assistance."

"I tracked down Russell in my hometown of Adelaide and joined his Hypnobirthing class. My goal was to be as relaxed as I could during the birth. I didn't expect to feel no pain, but I thought that I might as well have the best possible attitude to deal with whatever pain came my way while I gave birth to my baby. Throughout the classes and the practice that I put in every day (or two) I went into what I now look back on as training for birth. What I developed was a very strong commitment to a relaxed birth, free of fear. I was never quite sure I could really pull it off, but I was determined to give it a go. I gradually released the inherent fears that I had surrounding giving birth, but I could never quite shake a lingering anxiety of anticipation ... after all this preparation, what course would my birth take?
I went into labour with a big bag full of relaxation tools and techniques that I had gained through the Hypnobirthing classes, and most importantly I went in with a steadfast commitment to relax and hand over to my body. I felt confident and well equipped, in every way. The biggest surprise to me was that I really didn't feel pain. By relaxing completely and allowing my surges (contractions) to follow their course I found the sensations quite tolerable, even as the surges became increasingly intense. I truly relaxed, and my body did what it is designed to do and, surprise, surprise, it wasn't so bad! At the risk of showing off, but to the credit of Hypnobirthing, the midwives who assisted with my birth were all impressed with how calm I was and how well I managed the labour.
Anyway, in short, if you are thinking of Hypnobirthing, do it! Giving birth to my son was the most amazing day of my life and I would happily do it all again, no problem."
